Shepherd Threads…

• Elijah was a man just like us James 5:17
• There’s really nothing to fear
• When was the last time someone was astonished by your boldness?
• Let’s be very careful with your words

• Being fearless
• I can be in the worse situation and I can be fearless because He is with me
• Am I depending on the Holy Spirit for my own cleverness?
• Constantly throughout the Bible people are asking for Boldness – (e.g. Paul, Apostles, Acts 4:29 v. 31, 13)
• When was the last time someone was astonished by your boldness?
• When people see us as fearless then they will believe.
• That’s why they prayed for boldness
• Do we still believe those things happened? (e.g. Noah’s Ark, David, Moses, Peter, Paul etc.)
• Elijah was a man just like us James 5:17
• The very people that attend our gatherings are causing us not to believe
• We are supposed to encourage (“gave courage”) one another
• Let’s be very careful with your words
• Remember when you were first believers and you believed you could do anything?
• Stop believing these lies that the people in the Bible were something different
• Get back to the child-like faith
• God is my shepherd…he restores my soul…all for His name’s sake
• Even through valley of death my shepherd is with me. I’m not afraid.
• Even with my enemies attacking me. I’m not afraid
• It’s a peace
• If “what if” happens, he’ll come through again
• When you fear God, you start finding comfort/security in that power
• If Jesus really is your Shepherd, wouldn’t you want to go through the Valley of Death? We should be excited about it
• We set up our lives or world, we will let people/Satan talk us out of it
• You’re not being humble, you are not putting yourself down, you’re putting your creator down
• There’s really nothing to fear
